It was with great excitement that Hartlief Deli opened its doors to the South African public on the 1st of November 2016. The Deli has since been revamped, increasing in size and boasts a new layout intended to improve the customer flow and experience. There is now more seating inside, allowing customers to enjoy the atmosphere with their sit-down meals and additional seating is available outside the deli within the mall premises. Patrons can get their coffee and sandwiches from the coffee bar while the hot food section has been extended.

The aim was to retain a European feel whilst incorporating modern elements, focusing on showcasing the products on offer. The deli fridges were manufactured especially for Hartlief and are emphasised by a striking and lively ceiling feature which is unique to the new Hartlief Deli look. Hartlief Deli is proud to offer their customers a wide product range, delicious tastes and superior quality offerings. Expect to find an extensive range of deli meats including Black Forest Ham, hams, a range of salamis including Windhoek, Italian, German, Edel and Pepper salami to name a few. You will also find a few German speciality sausages, including Bratwurst and many more. We are proud stockists of Hartlief and Raith gourmet products, as well as a variety of much loved German delicacies.

Amongst the fresh meat selection, you will find premium cuts of beef, lamb, pork and chicken as well as German specialties such as veal or pork schnitzel, beech smoked pork knuckle, Eisbein, German Bratwurst and Kassler. For the festive season, we stock imported German Christmas specialties, such as Marzipan or Butter Stollen, Domino Steine and Lebkuchen Allerlei. During the Christmas season, we present a delectable array of smoked gammon, turkey and succulent duck, all expertly cooked, glazed and stuffed to perfection.
